Peter has performed on the Silk Road Chicago at the Art Institute series, at the Detroit Institute of Arts, the Toledo Art Museum and elsewhere. From 1967–1971 Peter worked extensively as a studio musician in NYC and recorded for Atlantic, Vanguard, Polydor and Columbia Records. Since 1975, he has devoted all of his time to specializing in instrument building and restoration.
He and his wife, Laurie, own and manage Psarianos Violins Ltd with two locations in Michigan, Troy and Ann Arbor. In 1995, he resumed an active role as a performer. An avid collector of Eastern recordings and instruments, Peter is arranging and recording his versions of Greek music of Asia Minor from the Pre-War periods. This concert promises to be a wonderful musical odyssey not to be missed!
